Transzach is extremely prudent in utilizing only the services of partner carriers that have a solid, safe and reliable proven service record with TZ. 

However, in the unlikely event that freight is lost or damaged, Transzach will assist our clients in the preparation of a claim to submit to the carrier and insurance company in question.  As a broker we operate under provisions of the law which states that a broker has no legal liability for freight loss or damage.

Transzach only utilizes partner carriers who have provided TZ with insurance certificates specifying their cargo and liability insurance coverage.

Should a client choose to transport merchandise of extraordinary value, we are in a position to offer them additional coverage up to the full replacement value of their cargo.  High value shipments must have values on Bol’s under transport law.

Should it become necessary to file a claim, please contact us immediately. If the claim is for damage, we will request the approximate replacement or repair cost of that portion of the shipment which has sustained damage to determine if an outside inspection should be requested.  Please do not move the freight, and, if possible, take photographs to assist us in substantiating the extent of the damage.

We will assist you file the claim and provide you contact information for carrier and insurance company to aid in submitting your claim more efficiently.  Keep in mind that insurance companies often send out adjusters who have to collect and file information to substantiate claims, get values, submit reports and all of which can take several weeks to complete.
